DC Tour Requests

During your stay in Washington, DC, our office would be happy to organize tours of the United States Capitol, White House, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Department of the Treasury and/or the Library of Congress for you and your party. Although our office can request tours on your behalf, we do not control the tour schedule nor availability of these locations.

 

Capitol Tour, House & Senate Gallery passes, Bureau of Engraving and Printing & Library of Congress

The form below will provide our office with all the information needed to request a tour on your behalf.  

Capitol Tours & Gallery Passes:

For security reasons, we can only offer staff-led tours to groups 15 persons or less. Larger groups will be accomodated by Capitol Visitors Center staff.

We require 1 week advance notice to schedule a tour, and House & Senate Gallery passes must be picked up in our office, located in 154 Russel Senate Office Building.

Library of Congress:

Tours held Monday-Saturday.  1 week advance notice needed.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing:

Tour held Monday-Friday except Federal Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years.

 

White House & Department of the Treasury

These locations require additional personal information for background checks performed by the Secret Service.  For security reasons, we ask that you provide this information separately.  Please download the "White House & Treasury Security Form" document at the bottom of this page, and email the completed form to: ciara_corbett@snowe.senate.gov

White House:

Available Tuesday-Saturday, generally between 7:30am-12:00pm.

Department of the Treasury:

Tours only on Saturday morning, and last 60 minutes. Two month advance notice needed.
