This two-part list is to assist the victims and evacuees of the Colorado wildfires and to direct people who wish to make donations of any kind.
Available resources for fire victims & evacuees
• Rocky Mountain Insurance Information Association has evacuation checklists and claims-filing advice.
• Colorado air quality, smoke forecasts are available, citing areas affected.
• Colorado Bar Association has a toll-free hotline for wildfire-related legal issues: Property loss, insurance claims, landlord-tenant issues, replacing wills and consumer protection matters. Nonemergency legal questions, call 800-332-6736. Leave name, contact info and nature of the legal issue. Callers will be contacted by a lawyer within 48 hours.
• Wildfire victims whose workplace has been impacted may be eligible for unemployment benefits, says the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. Those who haven't had access to work because of an evacuation or road closure or because their workplace burned down can file a claim at www.colorado.gov/cdle. Those now receiving unemployment benefits in affected areas can receive a waiver from the requirement to seek work.
• Auctions by Cellular is offering to donate its tech support to any fire relief agency that needs help in setting up text message evacuation alerts, donating money via text message, etc. Call 720-443-1222 or email gary@auctionsbycellular.com .
Colorado Springs - Waldo Canyon fire

• El Paso County Sheriff's office: Register your landline/cell for reverse 911 evac orders or call 719-785-1900.
• Waldo Canyon Fire evacuees are encouraged to register as 'safe and well' with the Red Cross program designed to give relatives and friends news of safety: safeandwell.communityos.org. Family members can also search for names of loved ones evacuated in any Colorado wildfire.
• Community
and Animal response team (CART) shelter at Cheyenne Mountain High School is accepting animals displaced by the fire. Can enquire at 719-444-7919, torrinilo@springsgov.com.• Douglas County Fairgrounds is receiving large and small animals for those in the pre-evacuation zone in Douglas County. The shelter has taken in 74 large animals, 3 dogs and there are stalls still available. Location 500 Fairgrounds Way, Castle Rock, CO 80104. Evacuation location is for animals only at this time. • Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region has set up a second emergency small animal evacuation shelter at the Freedom Financial Services Expo Center at 3650 N. Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs. Anyone attempting to reclaim a lost pet, or drop off a stray animal should go to the permanent HSPPR shelter at 610 Abbott Lane, just off 8th Street by the Wal-Mart. For space availability or pet evacuation shelter, call HSPPR at 719-473-1741.
• Store RVs, boats or vehicles for up to 10 days at Pikes Peak International Raceway's AutoCross (AutoX) lot behind the grandstands. Drop off vehicles during business hours 9am to 5pm. • For evacuees of Waldo Canyon Fire, the Pikes Peak Library has set up a laptop lab and books at the Red Cross Shelter in Cheyenne Mountain High School, Colorado Springs.
• In Colorado Springs, pets can be evacuated to Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital; 4120 Royal Pine Dr., Colorado Springs 80920; office 719-955-0966, doctor cell phone, 719-494-3050.
• SecureCare Self-Storage is offering 30 days of free storage at all its Colorado Springs-area locations. Call 1-877-907-1649.
• The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is opening its facilities to evacuees until further notice. Also open are day camps for children of evacuees, ages 5 to 12. Evacuees can enroll a child for as many days as they need, space permitting. The Briargate Y camps are full, but the others have openings. YMCA/PPR is also offering Waldo Canyon Fire evacuees use of all YMCA Family Centers and City-Owned, Y-Operated Aquatic and Recreation Facilities free access to showers and recreation with a driver's license and/or military I.D. • Starting June 29, IKEA Centennial is offering High Park Fire victims one-time discounts on kitchen and other home furnishings, up to $10,000, through December 31. Ikea will also pull the items and deliver them to the customer (Picking with Delivery). Offers are available to those who show proof of their loss with an official voucher provided by the American Red Cross Northern Colorado Chapter or Larimer County officials. Full details of the offer will be made available on the IKEA Centennial website by June 29.
Boulder - Flagstaff fire

How to donate or help communities dealing with wildfires
• El Paso County Sheriff's office: Large animal shelter at Norris-Penrose Equestrian Center needs volunteers: 719-520-7773.
• The Community and Animal response team (CART) shelter at Cheyenne Mountain High School is aiding animals displaced by the fire. The shelter is in need of dog waste bags, puddle pads, large slip leads and watering cans. Can enquire further at 719-385-5256, jmsmith@springsgov.com.

• Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado is partners with Stapleton Fellowship Church, 8700 E. 21st Ave, Denver, CO 80238, Hangar 61, which is a drop-off location for Waldo Canyon Fire victims. Church hours 9-5, M-Th and there is a drop-off at front door after-hours. Canned goods, personal-care items, cereals, diapers, new linens, etc. welcome.

Larimer County - High Park fire
• Help Colorado Now, a partnership of Colorado Division of Emergency Management (CDEM) and Colorado Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (COVAD), has a list of donations needed and Fort Collins location for drop-off.
