Lamborn Praises Republican 2012 Budget Proposal
April 6 2011“President Obama’s reckless spending is accelerating our nation's descent into a debt crisis.
“The Republican budget cuts $6.2 trillion in spending from the president's budget over the next 10 years, and reduces annual deficits by $4.4 trillion, bringing it back in line with our post-war average.
“This budget proposes fundamental changes to our nation’s entitlement spending to ensure that we save programs such as Medicare and Medicaid for our children and grandchildren. This is a fiscally responsible spending plan that will help spur economic growth and create new private-sector jobs.”– Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
