Every now and then the Army is granted the opportunity to work with another well-trained force. On the morning of Oct. 16, soldiers from C Company, 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment met with soldiers from the Kuwaiti Training Battalion, 25th Commando Brigade to execute an urban operations cross-training exercise.

Chaplains provide support to those taking part in Hurricane Sandy relief operations
National Guard members have come from throughout the country to assist with relief and recovery operations in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, with many soldiers and airmen taking part in evacuation, food and water distribution and debris removal operations. But, also present and providing a different kind of support have been chaplains from both the Air and Army National Guard.

'Tabletop' exercise prepares DC National Guard for inauguration
Key staff from the D.C. National Guard gathered Nov. 3 for a tabletop exercise at the D.C. Armory. The exercise was designed to examine the plans, policies, procedures and capabilities of the more than 6,000 National Guard Airmen and soldiers expected to provide traffic control, crowd management, communication and logistical support.
