Boustany Votes Against Wasteful Government Spending

Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D., (R-South Louisiana) released the following statement after voting against the Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2012,H.R. 2055:

“This massive $914.8 billion bill fails to fully address the necessity of cutting spending. Louisianans are demanding real solutions from Washington aimed to solve our country’s problems. The failure to work on automatic entitlement spending and the lack of commitment to Louisianans’ priorities is inadequate.”
