BWCAW Land Exchange Legislation Headed to House Floor

Washington, D.C. U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack (MN) is pleased to report that H.R. 5544, the Minnesota Education Investment and Employment Act, has been scheduled for an up-or-down vote tomorrow in the House.  Importantly, this legislation would federally enact the bipartisan state plan passed by the Minnesota Legislature and signed by the Governor.

“After our elected representatives acted on behalf of all Minnesotans, I promised the people of the Eighth District and the state of Minnesota that I would do everything within my power see that this bill has its day on the House Floor.   Tomorrow, we will have fair and open debate, and it is my hope that my colleagues vote to remedy this long-standing problem for Minnesota education,” said Rep. Cravaack.
