Congrats Congressman Turner on the re-election. I got a chance to hear you speak a few weeks back at the Romney Victory HQ. My family voted for you on Tuesday. My concern is we need a full and honest Republican independent investigation on this administration who committed a horrible crime with our ambassador and others who died in Benghazi. We the People need to know what this administration lied about.

  2. Dayton is well known as the birthplace of manned flight and home of the Wright brothers. What many people inside our community might not know is that we are quickly becoming a center for unmanned aviation.

  4. We can jump start our economy and lower energy costs by promoting American energy production. Few things affect American consumers like high energy prices. That is why I am committed to policies that promote America’s energy independence, reduce energy costs on families and businesses, and encourage job creation throughout Ohio.
  5. My prayers go out to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy. For continued watch lists and power outages google has setup this page: http://google.org/crisismap/2012-sandy. Also, get in touch with your local American Red Cross affiliation at www.RedCross.com

  7. Thank you House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chairman Jeff Miller for joining me this week in Dayton to meet with local Veterans. We need to make certain that we have an economic path to honor our veterans and ensure we continue to support those who have served our country.
  8. We have nearly 50,000 people who are employed in conjunction with Wright-Patt. A proposed 10 percent cut to just personnel would be devastating economically to our community and to the issue of national security.
  9. The designation of the Dayton VAMC as a National Historic Landmark ensures that its rich history and contributions to our nation’s veterans will be recognized for years to come. http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/news/dayton-va-named-national-historic-landmark/nSgFY/

  11. Beginning in 2013, the President’s healthcare law will impose a 2.3 percent excise tax on the sale of medical devices by manufacturers, providers, or importers. This tax will place yet another burden on American businesses, stifling develop...
ment of innovative life-saving products and costing jobs when our economy is struggling to recover. That is why I authored H.R. 1310, to repeal this tax on medical devices used by first responders. I also voted for H.R. 436, the Health Care Cost Reduction Act, which includes a provision to completely repeal the excise tax.
