I am 66, and from September to April, Medicare would not pay my doctor’s bills, even though I was paying for it. I went to the Social Security office several times and did not receive any help. That’s when someone told me to contact my Congressman. I sent a fax to Congressman Bishop and received a phone call back and was told they would look into it. Two weeks later, I got another phone call telling me the issue was resolved and Medicare is paying the bill. Tim Bishop’s office was able to do what no other government employees were able to. They were professional, knowledgeable about Medicare and responsive. I recommend anyone who’s getting the run-around give them a call for help.
