The Texas Forestry Museum is home to the story of the forests of Texas. The complexity of the natural resource, the legacy of the industry, and the current and future role of forest management practices can be explored through three galleries, outdoor exhibits, and an Urban Wildscape Trail.
Come See Our New Sawmill Doctor Exhibit!
The Texas Forestry Museum has a new exhibit on sawmill doctors. It depicts the life of a sawmill doctor and his role in a sawmill town.
This exhibit is made possible from donations from the Angelina Rotary Club, Rotary International, and James Bryan. Cindy Bryan Weems, the daughter of Dr. Arthur Bryan, and her husband, Pat, donated Dr. Bryan's medical collection for this exhibit.
Come See Our New Smokey Bear Exhibit!
The Texas Forestry Museum has a new exhibit in celebration of Smokey Bear's 70th Birthday. Come learn the story of Smokey Bear and see memorabilia from decades past including: dolls, stamps, a milk carton, a baseball, and much more!
