Employers and job seekers invited to attend
Overland Park, KS –Congressman Kevin Yoder today announced he will hold a Jobs Fair and Resource Expo in cooperation with Workforce Partnership on April 10, 2012. The jobs fair will take place at the Olathe Great Mall and both job seekers and employers are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
“I’m pleased to help provide an opportunity for local business owners and those wanting to join the workforce to meet together in one venue. We saw positive private sector job growth last month, but we know there is still more we can do to get Kansans gainfully employed,” Rep. Kevin Yoder stated. “Workforce Partnership provides excellent resources for both employers and job seekers and I’m happy to partner with them for such an important event.”
The Jobs Fair will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a special hour-long period devoted specifically to aid job-seeking veterans. The event will then open up to the full public at 10:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m.
The Olathe Great Mall is located at 20700 W. 151st St., Olathe, KS. Job seekers should dress forsuccess, bring plenty of resumes and do not need to register or pay to attend.
