Cohen Receives 90 Percent on Federally Employed Women Congressional Scorecard

MEMPHIS, TN – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) recently received a 90 percent on the Federally Employed Women (FEW) scorecard for the 112th Congress.  Congressman Cohen received the highest score in the Tennessee Congressional delegation.

“It is an honor to be recognized for my work on behalf of equality for women,” said Congressman Cohen.  “I have long supported issues important to women like ending pay discrimination, expanding hate crimes prevention, and protecting access to reproductive health care, and will continue to fight for these and other important initiatives for women in the future.”

FEW is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1968 after the issuance of Executive Order 11375 that added “sex” to the prohibited discriminations within the federal government. Federally Employed Women works to end sex and gender discrimination, to encourage diversity for inclusion and equity in the workplace, and for the advancement and professional growth of women in federal service by:
