A Look Ahead: House Committee on Homeland Security

 

Washington, D.C. (Monday, June 20, 2011) – Today, U.S. Rep. Peter T. King (R-NY), Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, announced the following upcoming Committee events:

Wednesday, June 22

“Markup: H.R. 901 and Committee Activity Report”

10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22 in 311 Cannon House Office Building

H.R. 901, (Mr. Lungren) To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to codify the requirement that the Secretary of Homeland Security maintain chemical facility anti-terrorism security regulations. The “Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Security Authorization Act of 2011.”

  • An Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute is expected to be offered by Mr. Lungren.

Consideration of the Committee Activity Report for the first quarter of the 112th Congress.
