Camp Announces Start of Academy Nomination Process

MIDLAND-- Congressman Dave Camp (R-MI) advises any student in the Class of 2013 and within the 4th Congressional District who is interested in attending one of the U.S. Service Academies to contact his Midland District Office.   

In order to be considered for an appointment to the U.S. Military, Air Force, Naval, Coast Guard or Merchant Marine Academy students must obtain a nomination from their U.S. Representative or Senator.  Camp urges students to gather information and begin the process early.  Applications must be submitted by November 1, 2012. 

“I find this to be one of the most rewarding parts of my job,” Camp said. “It is a pleasure to work with such talented young men and women from the 4th Congressional District.”
