Rep. Mica and Officials Review Floodwaters Problem in West Volusia

U.S. Rep. John L. Mica (FL-07) called together representatives from the St. Johns River Water Management District, Florida Department of Emergency Management, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers to meet with local Emergency Management Personnel and Engineers from Volusia County, Orange City, DeBary and Deltona to look problems relating to drainage and water pumping and long-term floodwater solutions.


The August 28th meeting took place in DeLand.
