Visiting DC
My office is happy to assist you in planning your trip to Washington D.C. If you are a Nebraska resident, we will make every effort to arrange Congressional tours of sites in our nation's capital. However, tickets are limited and distribution is at the discretion of each monument or attraction. If you are interested in setting up tours, submit your requests by filling out the E-form below. Have a great trip! (Please note that beginning November 1, 2012 our office will no longer be taking any new tour requests.)

How to Get Around
Washington D.C. has a safe, clean subway system, called Metro, that will take you to all of the attractions the city has to offer, as well as Reagan National Airport. Taxi and shuttle service is available to and from Dulles International Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport. The metro runs between the hours of 5:30 am to Midnight, Sunday-Thursday and 7:00 am to 3:00 am Friday and Saturday. Riding the metro is an inexpensive way to travel throughout the city. A one-way trip costs between $1.35 to $3.90, depending on when and how far you travel.
