Primary Care Center of Eastern Kentucky
Tammi Gorman, Barry Martin, Charla Napier, Amy Stidham Congratulations to the Hazard office of Primary Care Center of Eastern Kentucky! The group is a shining example of the volunteers who make a difference in their communities with PRIDE.

Cold Hill Elementary's Community-Wide Recycling
Mark Davis (PRIDE), Darrin Hacker (Cold Hill Elementary STLP Coordinator)The school doubled its recycling in just three months after inviting the community to recycle there. In May, the school sent 2,400 pounds to the City of London’s Recycling Center.

$355,087 in PRIDE Environmental Education Grants
During the 2009-2010 school year, 42,478 students will enjoy hands-on lessons in good stewardship, thanks to PRIDE Environmental Education Grants. A total of $355,087 was awarded to schools, nonprofit organizations and other educators in 38 counties of southern and eastern Kentucky.

Jack Keeney, Phil Osborne PRIDE welcomes Jack Keeney and Phil Osborne to its Board of Directors. They will volunteer their time and expertise to direct PRIDE.

Eastern Kentucky PRIDE is a nonprofit organization funded by federal grants to encourage and assist citizens, local governments, schools and others in 38 counties of southern and eastern Kentucky to:
1. Improve water quality in the region.
2. Clean up illegal trash dumps and other solid waste problems.
3. Promote environmental awareness and education.
