Student Services
As a former Professor at Central Michigan University, I believe that education is the backbone of America. With three children, however, I am well aware of the rising cost of higher education. I assure you that I will support any legislation to help lessen the financial burden of higher education for students. This is why I believe that student loans are so important. The student loan program allows students and parents to borrow the money necessary to make higher education a reality for so many students in our communities.
This will help guide students through the process of locating and applying for financial aid. Prepared by the Congressional Research Service for Members of Congress, updated January 2012.
