Help available for those who lost their job due to flooding, including those who were self-employed
Disaster Unemployment Assistance is available to provide up to 26 weeks of financial assistance to cover those who have lost their job as a result of the recent flooding disasters, including those who were self-employed at the time of the disaster. Individuals may apply for this benefit by phone at 877-FILEDUA (877-345-3382, or for those using a text telephone (TTY) 888-334-4046). This office is open 7:00am to 7:00pm on Monday and 7:00am to 5:00 pm Tuesday through Friday.
