Aquatics:
Red Cross Aquatics classes in the Mountain Empire area, such as lifeguarding and swimming lessons, are arranged by individual pools and are not listed on the above link. Contact the chapter for a current listing of participating pools. Enrollment for aquatics classes are handled by the individual pools.
Workplace Training Information
American Red Cross offers training for your business or organization. Please see our service delivery options below or contact our Health and Safety office at 276-645-6650, ext 105 M-F 8am-4:30 pm.
Workplace Service delivery options:
- A Red Cross instructor works with your facility to train your employees at a time that works for you-daytime, evenings, or weekends, for a minimum of 10 participants per instructor.
- For those businsess with fewer employees to train, please call us
- Become an authorized provider and have some of your staff members trained as Red Cross instructors to provide First Aid, CPR and AED training on-site.
- Enroll in a combination of Web-based and classroom training. The first part of the training is accessed at the employee’s convenience, followed by an intructor led skills practice and assessment.
