Utilities Planning 
The Utilities Planning Division develops water, sewer, and drainage master plans to help guide infrastructure development and growth of the city. This division also provides assistance with requests for Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (APFO), water / sewer allocation, easement agreements, and drainage and flooding problems involving the city. Mapping & Surveying

The Mapping and Surveying Division provides surveying and mapping services to internal departments and outside agencies that are relative to annexation, subdivision, utilities, watersheds, and the municipal boundary. This division also maintains the city-wide control network for all surveying, mapping, and engineering as well as drawings of development plans and existing public infrastructure, including as-builts in many cases. Traffic

The Traffic Division reviews traffic impact studies prepared in support of land development applications. Staff also evaluates the city’s roadways and responds to public traffic safety concerns, signage requests, temporary road / lane / sidewalk closures, and handicapped parking space requests.
