CATX is a general public,
curb-to-curb, demand response transit system established in 1995 and
operated by the City Parks, Recreation & Community Services
Department. Transit is available for work, medical appointments, school,
meetings, senior services, shopping, events and much more. Call CATX to find
out about monthly out of town shopping trips. All busses are wheelchair lift
equipped. |

Passes are
available for general public, senior discount and student discount. They may
be purchased from the Chowchilla Parks, Recreation & Community Services
Department office located at 145 W.
Robertson Boulevard.
For convenience, riders may also mail checks to CATX at
145 W. Robertson Blvd. Checks are to be made payable to the City of
Chowchilla. CATX is not responsible for lost or stolen passes.
Children under the age of three ride free with adult and
senior fares are donations.
Services are partially funded by Fresno-Madera
Area Agency on Aging and co-sponsored by County of Madera transportation
funds and the City of Chowchilla. |
