Gate Closure

February 13, 2013 — Johnson Road Gate will close Friday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. and will remain closed until Tuesday, Feb. 19 due to the President’s Day holiday. Johnson Road Gate will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 5:30 a.m. All personnel needing access to the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany during this closure should use the Main Gate on Fleming Road. MORE

Base employee to receive Presidential Citizens Medal

February 13, 2013 — Pamela Jackson, community plans liaison officer, Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, will be awarded the 2012 Presidential Citizens Medal, the nation’s second-highest civilian honor at the White House, Friday, according to a White House press release. Base bow hunting season closes, deer management continues
