Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the VA and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Volunteers can perform a number of services, and a volunteer's talents are closely matched with one of our many assignments.

Cash donations are used for the comfort and welfare of our veteran patients, including —but are not limited to:
- hygiene products
- refreshment supplies
- recreational activities
Non-cash contributions are used to make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Items which are accepted include —but are not limited to:
- magazines
- coffee and cookies
- new or gently used clothing
- telephone cards

Volunteer Drivers Needed to Transport Vets
The VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics’ (VA SORCC) Volunteer Transportation Network needs volunteer driver to help transport Veterans to and from VA clinic appointments throughout Southern Oregon. Volunteers are needed in the
communities of White City, Medford, Grants Pass, Klamath Falls, Applegate and Cave Junction. For more information, contact the VA’s Voluntary Service Office at 541-830-7467.
