This HQMC training is designed to educate Commanding Officer Spouses and the most Senior Enlisted Marine Spouses on the foundations of the Family Readiness Program. We will have guided discussion on the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities of a Senior Leaders’ spouse role, Communicating within the Command Team and building mentorships within your unit.
As a new Commanding Officer takes command of unit, this training will provide information to aide in the development of a successful Unit Family Readiness Program. As all key members are present, the new CO will add his/her perspective throughout this interactive briefing to make it unit specific. Topics include: Program structure, Command Team roles and responsibilities, volunteer program development, funding administration, and NAF Human Resources.
This training takes an in-depth look into the structure of the Unit, Personal Family Readiness Program. Topics covered are geared to assist appointed personnel to be the subject matter expert in family readiness for the Unit Commander. Training covers program structure, funding administration, volunteer management, special staff officer etiquette, deployment support, and local resources.
This interactive training is full of great information on the Family Readiness Program structure, local resources, good communication, and networking. This is required for appointed Command Team Advisors and Family Readiness Assistants; however it is open for anyone wishing to gain the knowledge.
Attending this training will give you a better understanding of what Operational Security (OPSEC) is and how it relates to you as a military family member or unit volunteer. The Personally Identifiable Information (PII) portion deals with protecting not only your personal information, but any information you might have access to as you support your Service Member’s unit by volunteering. This is required for appointed Family Readiness Volunteers, however it is open for anyone wishing to gain the knowledge.
eMarine Training is a HQMC training for Family Readiness Officers and Alternates appointed by the Unit Commanding Officer. Topics include page layout, announcements, polls, photos, and basic site maintenance. Registration is required.
This Lab time is open for any Family Readiness Officer and/or Alternate with Administrative rights to the Unit’s eMarine site. This time will be used for one on one attention on eMarine sites. Computer Lab will be available for assistance on Unit sites or simply just uninterrupted eMarine site maintenance and updating. Participants can arrive and stay as long as they need between the allotted time frames.
