Help Us "Green" Our Communication System

The Maine Chapter is looking to upgrade our communication system. This new software will help us reduce the amount of paper we use and better enable us to keep our members and activists better informed about important environmental issues in the state.

Help us reach our fundraising goal of $2000 to purchase this important tool by donating today.  Even a gift of $10 will put us one step closer to reducing the amount of paper we use.

Sierra Club Volunteers and

Clean Energy Advocates

Rally in Kennebunk

On August 25, Sierra Club Volunteers and other concerned citizens gathered in front of the Nonantum Inn in Kennebunk where Senator Susan Collins attended a 'Fiscal Wake Up Tour'.  Volunteers were there to send the message to Senator Collins that it is time for strong clean energy legislation in order to prevent the most serious impacts of climate change and to create a clean energy economy.

Call Senator Collins and Snowe today and let them know that we need a strong climate and energy bill now!

Senator Snowe (800) 432-1599
Senator Collins (202) 224-2523

Keep up the great work!

Maine's Newest Cool Community

Cape Elizabeth is the latest Maine town to sign onto the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement and begin to reduce their greenhouse gases. Congratulations to everyone on the Cool Cape team who worked so hard to make this happen.
