Northern Rockies Chapter volunteers on a cooperative weed pulling trip with the Forest Service down the Main Salmon River in Idaho

Comment on the Clearwater National Forest Travel Plan!

Action needed by October 2, 2009

The Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is open for public comment through October 2, and the Sierra Club is urging it’s members to support a modified alternative D. This alternative best protects wilderness characteristics, traditional non-motorized recreation opportunities, and provides the highest level of elk security of the four alternatives.
