NASW News

NASW News began publishing in 1956 and is the official newspaper of the National Association of Social Workers. The News is a primary information vehicle for practitioners, administrators, researchers, faculty, and students, including the association's more than 145,000 members. Its readers also include members of the U.S. Congress, governors, major daily newspapers, international associations of social work, social welfare agencies, libraries, and schools of social work.

Journals

NASW Press publishes the journal Social Work quarterly. Widely read by practitioners, faculty, and students, it is the official professional journal of NASW and is provided to all members as a membership benefit. NASW Press also publishes four specialty journals. Health & Social Work carries articles on the latest advances in areas such as aging, clinical work, long-term care, oncology, substance abuse, depression, and maternal health. Children & Schools publishes articles on innovations in practice, interdisciplinary efforts, research, program evaluation, policy, and planning.
