The most effective way to express our ideas and vision, however, is through our members. Having a network of professional social workers willing to contact their members of Congress - via letter, e-mail, or office visits regarding specific issues is essential, ensuring that NASW's legislative agenda is addressed in the Senate and House of Representatives.
