Doing Business with HACLA

Thank you for your interest in doing business with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA).

The HACLA procures a wide variety of supplies, equipment, construction and consulting services in accord with HACLA’s Procurement Policy.

Procurement Opportunities are divided into three categories: construction goods and services, professional services, and non-construction goods. All procurement procedures are conducted in full compliance with the Federal standards stated in the 24 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 85.36, and the HACLA procurement policy.

To become a HACLA vendor, vendors must complete a Vendor Application. Being added to the vendor database triggers automatic notification by mail of any procurement over $100,000 within the vendor's specified commodities.  Prior to approval of Purchase Orders, vendors shall be required to meet HACLA's basic insurance requirements.

The HACLA also actively outreaches to Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) in fulfillment of its policy of promoting contracting opportunities for such businesses.
