The purpose of the workshop in Orlando was to provide an overview of how weather, water and climate information is used by various economic sectors and essential services in APEC economies. The outcome of this workshop was to provide input into a project proposal submitted to the APEC Industrial Science and Technology Working Group in Spring 2002.
