The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides computing, network infrastructure, software applications and related services, support and maintenance to facilitate County business objectives. OIT provides technology-based resources and services to all County entities. OIT reports directly to the Director of Administration through the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Functions of IT include:

Policy matters relating to Information Technology, Electronics, and Internet Access for county offices and employees.

Promotion of Internet, IT and IT enabled services.

Assistance to other departments in the promotion of E-Governance, E-Commerce, E-Medicine, E-Infrastructure, etc.

Promotion of Information Technology education and Information Technology-based education.

Bridging the Digital Divide.

Promotion of Standardization, Testing and Quality in IT and standardization of procedure for IT application and Tasks.

All matters relating to personnel under the control of the Department.
