Seventh St. Corridor The Seventh Street Development Committee’s mission is to provide the spark and energy to continually improve Seventh Street’s quality of life, enhance the shopping and business environments, and create a place that people will want to experience. The Old Allentown Preservation Association The Old Allentown Preservation Association (OAPA) was founded in 1976 in reaction to an alarming loss in the housing stock of the Historic District. Its primary mission is to preserve the historic architecture of the District, which it does through a variety of programs and fundraising events. West End Theatre District Located in the western section of Allentown, in close proximity to many regionally significant assets such as Muhlenberg College, the Allentown Fairgrounds, and Lehigh Valley Hospital. The accessability of the West End Theatre District makes it an ideal neighborhood and business district to serve its residents, college population, and visitors.
