The Bob Rodale Cycling and Fitness Park is a mecca for bicycle track racing in the eastern U.S. The main feature of the park is the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, a 333-meter Velodrome that is owned by the County and managed as a not-for-profit corporation. Staffing contributed by Rodale Press, Inc. The track is open to the public at select hours. Other opportunities at the park include soccer, softball, cricket, basketball, and a picnic pavilion that seats 32 people.
The 71-acre tract west of Mosser Road has a 1.3-mile long, 24-foot wide asphalt track with a 0.6-mile inner flat loop and a .75-mile inner hill loop for bicycling, rollerblading and jogging. Other features include an exterior walking course, picnic pavilion (seats 48 people) with grill, and tot track with sandbox. A wooded nature trail features a boardwalk through the wetlands with opportunities for nature observation.
