Young Marines Cpl. Joseph DiGiovanni and Young Marines Sgt. Maj. Storme DiGiovanni chat with prospective
parents at an open house at Mololani Community Center, Tuesday. Both have been part of several other Young
Marines units prior to arriving on the islands. A new unit called the Pyramid Rock Young Marines is currently
recruiting military and non-military youths from 8 years old to graduation from high school or 18 years old. The
Young Marines is an anti-drug program dedicated to training and teaching youth various leadership and lifeskills. There are Young Marines units worldwide. Recruitment is twice a year. The current recruitment cycle ends on Nov. 3. For more information, email pyramidrockYM@gmail.com.
