  • Emergency Tidal Wetlands Licenses for Riparian Structures Damaged by SuperStorm Sandy

    2012 Emergency Tidal Wetlands License Forms
    This November 5, 2012, action by the State's Wetlands Administrator gives immediate permission to Maryland riparian property owners to repair or replace structures damaged by Sandy without changing the structures' original (pre-storm) size or configuration. This emergency license expires November 1, 2013.

    2013 Summary of Project Requests, Approvals and Recommendations
    On May 23, the Board of Public Works approved IAC's fiscal year 2013 funding for the Public School Construction Capital Improvement Program.



    Procurement Reports State Procurement laws and regulations can be found in the State Finance and Procurement Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Title 21 of the Code of Maryland Regulations. In one of its many functions as the procurement oversight agency, the Board of Public Works is tasked with collecting, evaluating and creating procurement-related reports. The Board reports these findings to the public, the General Assembly, the Governor's Office, and other agencies.

    Welcome to the Maryland Board of Public Works. We hope this site provides you with a basic understanding of the Board, its functions, and its daily operations. Read the most current Procurement Advisories, get the meeting schedule and agendas, and learn about Wetlands projects and School Construction projects.

    The Board comprises the Governor, the Comptroller, and the Treasurer. Each of the members' home pages may be accessed by clicking on their photos or names below.

    BPW Agenda Available Online

    The entire Board of Public Works Agenda is now available online alongside the Summary, Audio and Transcript links! Now everyone will be able to access the complete Agenda as submitted for BPW review the week before each meeting: look for the Agendas the Monday or Tuesday of the preceding week with the Summary up a few days later (normally Thursday).

    Are you aware that the BPW Agenda is composed of three separate Agendas? They are the:
