Diego, 9, and Gavin, 6, Olmedo meet Canadian Forces Capt. Marco Rusconi, outer left wing pilot for the Canadian Forces Snowbirds at Make-A-Wish Day here Sept. 30. This was the San Diegans' second time at Make-A-Wish Day. Make-A-Wish participants and the Naval Medical Center at San Diego's Balboa Kids got to watch the Blue Angels and the Snowbirds practice their air show routines front and center on the flight line a day before the start of the show, and then met the pilots for autographs and pictures.
