Laredo West Customs and Border Protection Border Patrol Agents Seize 3,000 Pounds of Marijuana

Laredo, Texas – On August 30, U.S. Customs and Border Protection U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo West Station seized 3,108 pounds of marijuana at the Laredo West Checkpoint located at Texas Highway 83. While CBP U.S. Border Patrol agents were conducting an immigration inspection of the tractor-trailer, a service canine alerted to possible hidden people or hidden contraband.
