Basketball shootout
The Knight of Columbus will hold their annual basketball shootout Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Youth Center. All children between the ages of 10 to 14 are welcome. Trophies and certificates will be handed out while supplies last.
National Federation of Federal Employees meeting
The National Federation of Federal Employees, Local 1384, represents all S&E and professional employees at Hanscom. Monthly union meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. in the Burlington Room of the Hanscom Conference Center, Bldg. 1106. All bargaining unit employees are welcome. The next meeting is March 20. Lunch will be provided or employees can bring their own. Vietnam ace to speak
Retired Col. Chuck DeBellevue, Vietnam War ace, will join the Air Force Association, Paul Revere Chapter for a Leadership Night at the Minuteman Commons March 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. He was the first U.S. Air Force weapons systems officer to become an ace during the Vietnam War in 1972. DeBellevue became America's top "MiG Killer" when he and his pilot, Capt. John Madden, downed two MiGs, giving him six in total, the most earned during the Vietnam War.
