The Emergency Acquisition Community of Practice leverages and integrates existing resources, serves as a repository of relevant job support resources, and provides a robust knowledge base of relevant policy and procedure information, interagency contracts, human resources, e-tools, and links.

The goal of this interagency tool is to:

  1. Identify and develop a cadre of highly skilled procurement professionals who are available to respond to national emergencies and disasters; and

  2. Develop a collaborative tool to foster knowledge sharing across the federal government to support emergency response and recovery incidents.
