The country with the more debt is still USA even too they had the huge advantage than their money was the only reference currency for half century. BTW Roosevelt's solution was exactly to spend more to solve the 1929 crisis.

I don't think education should only follow the short term need of the market and be cut at every crisis or politician program. That's my point of view / humanist philosophy without real economical arguments.

The beauty of politic is to invent the future and what we want. Not to only follow the current economic need. If it's the case you can remove the politician, it will works, but don't think your are in an democratic country.

Education also mean new research and knowledge not only create workers. This have massive effect on the economic.

I agree, education can certainly be cheaper for the same efficiently. But for that you will also have to remove it out of the market. The target of the open market is making money (value) in an short therm.

I sadly didn't yet watch your video (don't have my headphone...) but I will as I know some of the idea of Milton Friedman and think is interesting man with strong point of view.
