Brig. Gen. Martha A. Meeker is Commandant, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The EC is the Air Force's Center of Excellence for advanced expeditionary combat support training and education and houses the Mobility Operations School, the Expeditionary Operations School and the Expeditionary Center Support Directorate. The office of the commandant partners with Air Staff, Air Education and Training Command, and the USAF Warfare Center to provide a disciplined training process that offers 92 in-residence courses and 19 web-based training courses, graduating more than 24,000 students annually.

General Meeker received her commission from Officer Training School in 1987 and, after two years as a programmer for the U.S. Space Command's Defense Satellite Program, entered navigator training in 1989. General Meeker earned her wings in 1990 and went on to serve as an instructor navigator onboard Strategic Air Command's Airborne Command and Control System and NATO's Airborne Warning and Control System, as an Air Officer Commanding at the Air Force Academy, and as the Commander, Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Most recently, she served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Commander, U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, Mons, Belgium.
