Brig. Gen. Patrick C. Malackowski is the Deputy Director of Operations, Plans, Requirements and Programs, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. PACAF's primary mission is to provide ready air and space power to promote United States interests in the Asia-Pacific region during peacetime, through crisis and in war.

General Malackowski was commissioned in 1986 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. His commands include the 81st Fighter Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany; the 438th Air Expeditionary Group, Al Asad Air Base, Iraq; and the 57th Operations Group, Nellis AFB, Nev. His staff experience includes the Chief of Training and Readiness, 13th Air Force, Andersen AFB, Guam. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Commander, 51st Fighter Wing, Osan Air Base, South Korea.

General Malackowski is a command pilot with more than 3,500 flying hours in the A-10.
