Overview

Established in 1996 at the Coast Guard Reserve Training Center in Yorktown VA, the Performance Technology Center (PTC) was created to use human performance technology (HPT) techniques and tools to analyze workforce performance problems and employ emerging technology to support human performance. In May 2010 the PTC moved under the Coast Guard Force Readiness Command, Training Division (FC-T). Read more about the PTC and HPT.
