Third Annual Healthy Kids, Healthy Pets event takes place June 2 at Remington Park

Attention Fort Drum Soldiers and Families! Save the date now for the third annual Healthy Kids, Healthy Pets event that takes place June 2 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Remington Park!

This event offers fun and information for the entire family.

For instance:

• Learn how to create a healthy lifestyle!

• Take part in games and activities!

• Take advantage of free pet recipes and treat samples!

• Learn about family and pet nutrition tips; and,

• Let on-site veterinarians and pediatricians provide advice and answer your questions.

Healthy Kids/Healthy Pets will be held near the park entrance, next to the Dog Park. Leashed dogs may participate in this event, but need to be kept on a leash for the duration of their visits. In the event of inclement weather, the Hillside Cabin has been reserved and will provide shelter. Rest room facilities are also available at that location.

This event is being sponsored by the Fort Drum MEDDAC Pediatrics Department, Veterinary Services, and Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County.
