Next Steps

Implementing “Get Well Plans”

All VA contracting organizations are implementing “get well plans” as a result of feedback VA received from the SRM and Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Forums, the Supplier Perception Survey and the VA Internal Customer Feedback Survey.  These “get well plans” are based on implementing a series of actions that support 5 enterprise-wide transition goals.  Since each VA contracting organization can face unique challenges, each VA contracting organization has flexibility about how they implement actions to support the enterprise-wide goals.  These plans are available for public view here.

Continuous Dialogue with our Suppliers via Social Media

VA is launching a FaceBook group and Twitter feed.  These social media tools will enable VA to engage in real-time and meaningful dialogue with our industry partners and internal VA customers to discuss concerns, challenges, successes and how we can improve the acquisition process together.  Ultimately, VA’s goal is to acquire the best for our Nation’s Veterans — every day, every time.  We can only achieve this goal by working closely with our industry partners, our internal customers and our contracting staff.
