Seminars & Colloquia

See the GISS calendar for a list of upcoming seminars and meetings.

Seminar presentations at GISS are held many Fridays during the academic year at 11:00 a.m. An informal lunchtime presentation series is held on Wednesdays once or twice per month. Other special seminars occur from time to time as events and visitors' schedules permit.

Security Note

Regulations require that visitors arrange in advance for a building pass. Persons who wish to attend a GISS seminar or colloquium who do not have a NASA badge or pass must e-mail the event contact at least two days in advance of the event for assistance.

If your event is an announced meeting or conference (as listed at left on this page), building pass arrangements will be handled by the event organizer.
