A soldier is able to carry the Radio Control Unit for the Spider XM7 to enhance perimeter security while utilizing man-in-the-loop command and control of either lethal or none-lethal munitions. The Munition Control Units are capable of detonating up to six grenades or claymore mines simultaneously. Network Integration Evaluation 13.1 has been tasked with utilizing the Spider under field conditions Oct. 25 during platoon operations here. (
