Alex Peyton, an agricultural specialist with the Nebraska National Guard's Agribusiness Development Team, the agricultural section for the Paktiya Provincial Reconstruction Team, talks with Farooq Marijani, the head of agricultural services for the Gardez district at the Gardez demonstration farm, Sept. 3, 2012. Peyton was originally inspired to join the military after listening to stories about his grandfather, who served in World War II.
