Defense Secretary and Korean Minister of National Defense to Conduct Press Events at the Pentagon
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta will host an honor cordon for Minister Kim, Kwan Jin, the Republic of Korea's Minister of National Defense, at 8:30 a.m. EDT, Oct. 24, at the River Entrance. The two leaders will brief the media at 10:30 a.m. EDT in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973). Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the honor cordon or 45 minutes prior to the press conference; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
