Visit by the Bulgarian President, Mr. Petar Stoyanov, to NATO on 29 January 1997 Information The Bulgarian President, Mr. Petar Stoyanov, will visit NATO Headquarters on Wednesday, 29 January. He will meet the Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, and Permanent Representatives on the North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 14:30. President Stoyanov's departure is expected at 16:15. MEDIA ADVISORY Programme of the Visit 14:25 NATO main entrance. Arrival of Mr. Stoyanov. Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis. 14:30 Meeting with Secretary General in the Private Office. In view of the limited space available, only a restricted pool will be authorized to cover the beginning of the meeting. 15:00 Room 1: North Atlantic Council session. Introductory remarks by the Secretary General and the Dean of Council, followed by reply by President Stoyanov.
